What can I expect?
Depending on your scope and use cases, this engagement typically takes 6-21 days. During this time, your team will work with Cumulocity platform experts to derive a clear IoT strategy, better understand the value of your IoT solution, evaluate risk, and develop an initial change management plan.
Note: To determine the most appropriate delivery approach, a one-hour discovery call is initiated prior to confirming an engagement.
How does it work?
The engagement is structured around a series of Design Thinking workshops with your key IoT stakeholders.
- During the initial Inception workshop, you will work with our experts to assess the current state of your corporate digitalization strategy and select a suitable method for defining your IoT strategy.
- Following the Inception workshop, your stakeholders will participate in Establish Your IoT workshops that focus on ideation, re-thinking the company’s smart product vision, corporate goals, and target product portfolio as well as identifying corporate challenges.
- Next, using the IoT maturity curve, you will work with our experts to assess common pitfalls and opportunities for monetarization, identifying IoT products and services that can deliver on your target business value.
- During the Ideation workshop, you will identify the required people, processes, and technology needed for the successful execution of a commercial IoT business model.
- Finally, you will work with our experts to consolidate and define your IoT strategy and develop your product journey with the required department contributions. You will also select and prioritize use cases for development, define the business model canvas, and set KPIs to effectively measure the success of your IoT strategy.
