Develop your Cumulocity use case

With a clear IoT strategy in place and requirements gathered for your selected use case, it’s time to bring your vision to life. Working with our experts, you will develop a minimum viable product (MVP) of your selected use case. Gaining hands-on experience, your team will be well-positioned to accelerate deployment and gain faster time-to-market with your Cumulocity solutions.

What can I expect?

Depending on your scope and scenario, this engagement may take up to 65 days. A one-hour discovery call is conducted with the consultant and key stakeholders to determine the size of the engagement required.

During this engagement, an agile methodology is followed to develop a working MVP covering Device Connectivity, User Interface, and Analytics which is deployed within your environment and handed over for UAT. 

Further implementation and roll-out support can be arranged upon request.

How does it work?

  1. The consultant works with you to define the development scope for the defined use case.  
  2. Next, you will work with the consultant to define the high-level scope of work for the engagement through a series of Ideation activities.  
  3. Once the scope is defined, the consultant will present the proposed solution architecture for the IoT use case.  
  4. Once your team has approved the solution architecture, the consultant will kick off the development phase covering Device Connectivity, UI Development, and Analytics to address several topics for the selected use case.    
  5. Finally, once development activities are complete, the consultant will work with you to document DevOps.

What will I gain?

With this offer, you will:

  • Develop your defined user interfaces, widgets, and web applications for the selected use case.  
  • Create dashboards and reports to support the use case. 
  • Configure and/or develop analytics rules, (e.g. alarms, thresholds), to support the use case. 
  • Develop a microservice to connect APIs or to fulfill requirements beyond ‘“out of the box’” capabilities with Cumulocity.
